Arsenal celebrate against Bournemouth

Arsenal continue their brilliant start to the season with a 3-0 victory away at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Martin Odegaard gave the visitors a head start with two goals in the first 11 minutes before William Saliba scored his first goal for the team with a beautiful left-footed finish.

The Gunners captain scored his first goal by tapping it in after star new acquisition Gabriel Jesus’ superb effort caused Gabriel Martinelli’s shot to be parried. The Norwegian then smashed in a second goal after Jesus’ heavy touch set him up in the box.

With a spectacular goal in the second half, center-back Saliba made headlines. The Frenchman more than made up for his own goal against Leicester last weekend with a beautiful, looping shot that went in off the underside of the bar.

The 21-year-old celebrated his first goal for the club in style after waiting three seasons to be given the opportunity by the Arsenal first squad.

William Saliba celebrate with teammates

For the first time since the 2004–05 campaign, Arsenal has won its first three games.

Mikel Arteta’s side earned a comprehensive victory on the south coast, moving them to the top of the standings before Manchester City had the chance to respond while visiting Newcastle on Sunday.

Bournemouth who previously lost against City were completely outclassed and currently sit in 14th place on the table after struggling through another difficult task.

The situation for Scott Parker’s team doesn’t get any better because their next Premier League game is against Liverpool.
