Security measures have been intensified in and around the Supreme Court premises as the court will be delivering judgements in seven governorship appeals.
Heavy-armed security personnel from the Nigeria Police, Department of State Services, and members of the Nigerian Army have cordoned off all roads leading to the Apex Court from the Head of Service office.
Also, lawyers, party loyalists, and journalists not accredited are denied access to the court.
Judgements are being expected to be delivered in Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Cross River governorship disputes.
Chronicle NG reports that the apex court decisions on the governorship election appeals are final.
