Gunmen attacked a petrol station in Kaduna State on Tuesday night, killing a vigilante member and abducting dozens.
According to reports, the criminals who stormed the area around 6.30 p.m. targeted the fuel station in order to rob the attendants.
The attack came just hours after another group of gunmen opened fire in a mosque on Tuesday morning, killing two worshippers and injuring others.
Zubairu Idris Abdurauf, the Danmasanin Birnin Gwari and former Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation, told journalists over the phone that there had been renewed attacks on communities in the Birnin-Gwari Emirate and that citizens had been killed by the rampaging bandits.
He stated that, while the military and other security officers were trying their best, the government should send more operatives to the Emirate and adjust their tactics in order to take the fight to the den of the terrorists.
