President Bola Tinubu has been described as the most hostile Lagos State governor against the Igbos in the state.
In a statement on X on Saturday, Chukwuma Nwakwo berated the President for allegedly showing “hostilities against the Igbos” in the state.
Nwakwo made the statement while reacting to a statement on Saturday that noted Tinubu was described as the originator of the ethnic rivalry between the Igbos and Yorubas in the state.
In a statement on X on Saturday, Funsho stated that when he “was governor of Lagos, he made an Igbo man commissional. He put lots of Igbo in key positions.”
According to Funsho, the Igbos hate the Nigerian leader because “they don’t have such a man in their land.”
Reacting to the statement, Nwakwo said that Mr. President “was the most hostile governor against the Igbos, and the present regime of Babajide Sanwo-Olu is just the continuation of Tinubu’s hostilities against the Igbos, or you think Igbos don’t know that Sanwo-Olu is just taking orders from Tinubu to maim the Igbos,”
