The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 930 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 930 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 77,933.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 300 patients from isolation centers across the country with six new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 308 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 26,490.
The Federal Capital Territory recorded 207 new cases, Kaduna state reported 179, Plateau state had 29, Niger reported 43 while Adamawa 26 new cases.
Other states are Sokoto-18, Rivers-16, Yobe-15, Enugu-13, Kano-13, Ogun-12, Delta-10, Edo-5, Osun-3, Oyo-3, Anambra-2 and Ekiti-1.
NCDC reports that there are 77,933 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 67,784 discharged and 1,218 deaths.
