The Nigerian government is considering banning motorcycles (Okada) nationwide as one of the drastic measures to curb the incessant cases of insecurity in the country. The Attorney General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, disclosed this to journalists after the National Security Council meeting, held on Thursday in Abuja. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have reviewed and adopted new minimum cut off mark for admissions in the 2022/2023 academic session. In an Ongoing Policy meeting on Admissions at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, chaired by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, the Board revealed the minimum cut-off for universities will be 140, while the minimum for both Polytechnic and college of educations is pegged at 100.
