Manchester United have opened talks with Bayern Munich about a possible loan deal for Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
SkySports Premier League posted a video of Sabitzer sighted at Munich airport as he is expected to undergo a medical and complete a move.
The 28-year-old is available during the current transfer window and following news of Christian Eriksen’s long-term injury and a short-term problem for Scott McTominay, United are exploring the prospect of a loan move.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, stated during the Tuesday press conference that it was “difficult” to close any transactions on the deadline day.
However, Ten Hag is well known at Bayern Munich due to his time spent there as the second-team coach, and that connection might facilitate a quicker deal.
For the upcoming matches against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace over the next week, Ten Hag will only have two fit central midfielders.
Although Kobbie Mainoo, 17, is highly regarded at United, it is unlikely that he would regularly be tried at first-team level. Zidane Iqbal, a 19-year-old midfielder who represents Iraq, has yet to play for a senior team this year.
Sabitzer would be a perfect addition for United, who are still in all four competitions and possess a 3-0 lead from the first leg going into their Carabao Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday at Old Trafford.
Prior to signing a four-year contract with Bayern in August 2021, Sabitzer played for RB Leipzig for six seasons, serving as the team’s captain in 2020–21.
He has 12 goals in 68 games for Austria.
