An inspired Tottenham team came from behind to defeat newly promoted Sheffield United in the fifth match of the English Premier League.
In the pulsating encounter, Tottenham Hotspur were clearly the better side, but they could not convert their shots on target in the first half of the game, which ended in goalless parity.
A goal from Gustavo Hamer in the 73rd minute put the visitors in the lead.
However, Ange Postecoglou’s side restored parity in the 8th minute of added time with a goal from Brazilian international Richarlison.
The Londoners sealed their victory two minutes later with a goal from Kulusevski.
To add to their woes, the visitors were reduced to a man down in the 14th minute of added time when McBurnie was red carded in the clearly physical encounter that saw 27 fouls committed by both teams.
With today’s victory, the Spurs now sit second on the log with 13 points. Two points behind table leaders Manchester City.
