    Champions League: Porto striker wins UEFA goal of the season award

    Porto's Mehdi Taremi scored a sensational bicycle kick against Chelsea in the quater-finals

    Porto Striker Mehdi Taremi has won the UEFA goal of the season award for 2020/2021.

    The Iranian international scored an overhead bicycle kick against Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals.

    The sensational striker recieved almost 30% of the votes, allowing him to win the award for his acrobatic effort in the match.

    The Portuguese club exited the tournament on a 2-1 aggregate but the striker’s sensational effort was rewarded by etching his name in the annals of history.
