Omokri lauds Muslims over good morals

Social media influencer Reno Omokri has described as “commendable” the morals Muslims display.

Stating that “faith is not the only object of religion,” Omokri mentioned that “morality is just as vital.”

The former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan made the remarks in a statement on his X page on Sunday.

Noting that Muslim women do not “slay,” he added that their morals are the reason “paternity fraud is almost nonexistent in Islamic countries.”

“Say what you want about Islam, but the morals Muslims display are commendable. How many practicing Muslim women do you see slaying? Paternity fraud is almost nonexistent in Islamic countries. Faith is not the only object of religion. Morality is just as vital,” he stated.

Furthermore, Omokri mentioned that though Christians “scoff” polygamy, which Islam permits, in practice, many Christians are polygamous.

“Those of us who identify as Christians scoff at polygamy, which Islam unambiguously allows. But in practice, many of us, male and female, are just as polygamous, or even more polygamous than Muslims,” he said.

“What do you think side chicks and side guys are? Once you have intercourse with anyone, you are consummating a marriage (1 Corinthians 6:16),” he added.
