A Nigerian Muslim has disclosed that his counterparts keep praying for a Christian not to taste the corridors of power in the country.

In a statement on X on Friday, an X user identified as Nafiu Kaoje revealed that members of his religious extraction are driven by their hatred for Christians.

He noted that social media has succeeded in causing an ethnic divide among Muslims and Christians.

Kaoje noted that the “obsession, blasphemy, and media trolling have led to a monumental divide.

“You see, in this country (Nigeria), we Muslims keep praying that we shouldn’t be led by a Christian because the obsession, blasphemy, and media trolling of Christians to Islamic faithful is making it obvious that they hate us.

“To us, that’s how we are going to be ruled if one of theirs comes to power,” Kaoje stated.
