Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has donated N7 million to 11 churches

A former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has called on law enforcement agencies to ensure Yahaya Bello, a former governor of Kogi State, faces the wrath of the law.

In a statement on his verified X page on Thursday, Omokri called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and other law enforcement agencies to ensure a proper investigation of Bello and ensure justice if the suspect “has committed any offense.”

Omokri noted that the former governor could have been a “role model for Nigerian youths,” but “he fell short of it.”

“Former Governor Yahaya Bello could have been a role model for Nigerian youths during his tenure, which, looking outside in, he fell short of.

“If he has committed any offense, he should face the full wrath of the law at the hands of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) and other law enforcement agencies,” Omokri’s statement reads.
