President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed the visit’s specifics in a statement made on Tuesday.
Tinubu will visit Malabo’s Presidential Villa and meet with Mbasogo.
The two presidents are likely to discuss critical bilateral issues, including oil and gas and security.
Several agreements will be inked to strengthen collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea in various sectors.
The statement added, “The will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations.”
