A suicide bomber has been caught with explosives wrapped around his waist on the premises of a bank in Dadin Kowa, Jos South, Plateau State.
According to reports, as soon as it was determined that the suspect had a bomb, an alarm was raised, and he was quickly apprehended to prevent a tragedy.
According to a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X on Tuesday, the bank’s vigilante security thwarted the attempt when they noticed the suspected bomber.
Upset by the discovery, an irate mob pounced on the culprit and reportedly wanted his death.
The suspect was eventually handed over to the police for further investigation.
A photo attached to Makama’s tweet showed the explosives strapped to the suspect’s stomach.
It is unknown, however, whether the suspect was related to any terrorist outfit in the country.
