Bright Edafe, Public Relations Officer for the Delta State Police, has stated that Viagra and other sex enhancement medicines are over-the-counter drugs.
Edafe declared that possessing these enhancing medications is not considered an offence.
The Police PPRO made this known in a message uploaded on his X handle, stating that the Nigerian police force always educates its officers, but it is critical that residents understand their rights.
Edafe wrote, “Viagra and some other sex enhancement drugs are over-the-counter drugs, and it’s not an offence to be in possession of them. We always enlighten our men, but it’s important you know your rights too.”
Viagra is a brand-name prescription medication approved to treat erectile dysfunction.
