It was really a miraculous near death experience for some football lovers on Saturday afternoon as an SUV ran into fans at a viewing centre.

A Nigerian typical viewing centre is a bungalow-like structure or shed with rows of wooden benches arranged to face the different tv screens showing different soccer the matches on offer.

Part of the occupants of the car sustained some minor forms of injury and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment and attention.

The Hyundai Tucson SUV, with Lagos registration plate number SMK 809 GP which allegedly failed its brakes was on top speed when it rammed into the viewing centre located at the Pineapple area along Oki-Ogungbade road in Ibadan.
