The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 634 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 634 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 154,476.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 881 patients from isolation centers across the country with six new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 259 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 55,381.
Osun state recorded 45 new cases, Edo reported 38, Ogun had 35 cases, the Federal Capital Territory reported 33, while Anambra had 26 new cases.
Other states are Imo-24, Ondo-24, Akwa Ibom-20, Plateau-20, Abia-19, Kaduna-19, Ebonyi-17, Borno-10, Rivers-10, Kano-9, Delta-8, Kebbi-7, Nasarawa-4, Oyo-3, Enugu-2 and Ekiti-2.
NCDC reports that there are 154,476 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 131,699 discharged and 1,891 deaths.
