The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 193 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 193 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 5162.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 110 patients from isolation centers across the country and three deaths were also reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 58 new cases.
Kano recorded 46 cases while Jigawa reported 35 new cases.
“Twelve new cases were announced in Yobe and nine in the Federal Capital Territory.
“7-Ogun, 5-Plateau, 5-Gombe, 4-Imo, 3-Edo, 3-Kwara, 3-Borno, 1-Bauchi, 1-Nasarawa and 1-Ondo.
According to the NCDC, there are 5162 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 1180 patients discharged and 167 deaths.
