The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has proclaimed Faith Ugochi, a Port Harcourt-based prophetess and proprietor of Christ Power Adoration Ministries, wanted.

The anti-narcotics agency is also seeking information on the whereabouts of a celebrity couple, Igho Ubiribo and Danielle Simba Allen.

The triumvirate allegedly recruited adolescent females into an international drug trafficking syndicate that operated from Los Angeles, United States.

The NDLEA operatives at the NAHCO import warehouse of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, intercepted a consignment of 32.70 kilogrammes of loud.

After freight agent, Ukoh Ifeanyi Oguguo was detained, further investigations led to the apprehension of four others: Chikodi Favour; Obiyom Shalom Chiamaka; Nnochiri Chidinma Promise; and Edward Omatseye (a.k.a. Montana).

Favour, a 15-year-old, was the first salesgirl apprehended at a petroleum station in the Ajah area of Lagos. She thereafter conducted the operatives to a duplex residence in the Ikate area of Lekki.

The residence was discovered to be a rented apartment by the criminal group specifically for the young females the syndicate employs for the marketing and distribution of illicit narcotics.

Another female, Shalom, a new graduate of Agricultural Science from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, was chosen alongside Favour.

The syndicate rented another building used as a narcotic warehouse inside Richmond Estate, Lekki. Drug paraphernalia, including a sealing machine, an inflating machine, and packaging sacks, were recovered.

A follow-up operation led to the arrest of Edward Omatseye in Lekki, who confessed to working for Igho and his wife, Danielle, the overarching chiefs of the criminal organisation.

The NDLEA verified it obtained an order from the Federal High Court in Lagos to declare Prophetess Faith Ugochi and the celebrity couple wanted.
