A Nigerian military aircraft has reportedly crashed in Kaduna. Details of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
According to a source who spoke to Daily Post, the crashed plane was an Alpha jet which crashed “somewhere in Kaduna state”
“The fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa capital, this morning to go clear bandits”, the informant added.
The leadership of the Nigeria Airforce was yet to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.
The military has recorded a quite a number of crashes in 2021 alone. Including one in May that claimed the lives of serving Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other officers.
On February 21, a Minna-bound military jet crashed, killing all 7 people on board.
On April 2, another Alpha jet crashed in Borno during an operation.
