Valentine Onuigbo, the chairman of the Labor Party (LP) in the Karshi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has passed away.
In the early hours of Saturday, his family discovered that he had passed away in his sleep.
He was alleged to have been enthusiastically anticipating the start of voting on Saturday as he oversaw the party’s pre-election operations till late Friday.
His remains have been placed at the national capital’s Asokoro Hospital mortuary.
