Joy Nsude, a Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom, was discovered dead at her home in Hartlepool after conversing on the phone with her husband and several others.
Nsude had two children, a four-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl.
Ibironke Khadeejah Quadri, a member of the Nigerian community in the UK, announced Nsude’s death in a Facebook post on Monday, adding that the reason for her death had not been determined.
Nsude, who died on November 2, was a student of international management at Teesside University in Middlesbrough, according to Quadri.
Quadri wrote, “It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our esteemed member of the Nigerian Society (Teesside University) in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, Joy Nsude, a student of International Management.
“She is the mother of two children, a 2-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. She passed away in her apartment on November 2, 2023, in Hartlepool, England, after speaking to many people on the phone, including her husband, while he was on his way to work on that fateful day.
“The cause of death is not yet reviewed. Justice Nwaru, the husband who is devastated at the moment, is soliciting for your kind and generous donations from friends, families, groups, institutions, and associations to enable him to arrange her funeral.”
