Engineer Joe Igbokwe, special adviser on drainage and water resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has accused members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) of setting his house in Nnewi, Anambra state on fire.
Igbokwe on his Facebook page said the secessionists arrived his home with jerrycans of petrol to raze the house.
“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now,” the All Progressives Congress chieftain said.
“I am sure they raised down the my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV.
“To God be the glory. I am still alive,” Joe Igbokwe said.
He later posted a video of the invasion on his house and again confirmed that no one was killed in the invasion.
Chronicle NG reports that at the time of updating this report, Igbokwe has deleted both posts on his Facebook page.
