Former Kaduna North and Bayelsa Central Senators Shehu Sani and Ben Murray-Bruce have conveyed their condolences on the demise of Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South.

Ubah, Capital Oil’s CEO, died on Saturday at a hotel in London, United Kingdom.

The late legislator, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, passed away at the age of 52.

In a post on his X page on Saturday, Sani lauded Ubah as an accomplished businessman and an amazing football promoter in the country.

He wrote, “I received the sad news of the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South. The nation has lost a great politician, an accomplished businessman, and an outstanding promoter of football. May his soul rest in peace. Ameen.”

In an X post, Murray-Bruce also stated that the late senator’s achievements to the nation’s oil sector and public service would be remembered.

The former legislator also expressed his sympathies to the late Anambra senator’s family and loved ones.

He wrote, “With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. His contributions to our nation, both in the oil sector and public service, will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this difficult time.”
