Former All Progressives Congress (APC) national deputy secretary, Victor Giadom, left the National Executive Council meeting in a dramatic fashion after he was quietly ousted.
Giadom had summoned the NEC meeting in his capacity as acting national chairman after a court order giving him such powers.
The Rivers State-born politician was excused out of the Aso Villa venue on Thursday, following the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC).
Shortly after the dissolution, Gaidom attempted to speak, but sources at meeting said House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, objected, saying that he had ceased to be a NEC member, owing to the NWC dissolution.
It was after he was called to order that he left the hall.
