Four more students abducted from Bethel Baptist secondary school, Chikun, Kaduna state, have been freed.
Their release was confirmed by a top official of the school who revealed that the four students had escaped their captors during the night.
So far, 38 students have been rescued out of 121 kidnapped by the bandits.
Prior to the latest development, 28 students had regained their freedom on Sunday.
The circumstances surrounding their release is not yet clear as the bandits had demanded a ransom of N60m after abducting the students on July 8.
Whether or not ransoms were paid is yet to be determined.
