Activist Deji Adeyanju has condemned TikToker Peller for asking Nigerians to halt the #30DayRants challenge, a trending campaign criticizing governance in the country.
During a recent livestream, Peller expressed concern that continuous criticism on TikTok could lead to the platform being banned in Nigeria.
He emphasized that his livelihood depends on TikTok and that he could not afford such a risk.

His remarks sparked widespread backlash, with many labeling them as “childish and selfish.”
Adding his voice to the criticism, Adeyanju argued that Peller had no right to dictate how Nigerians should express their frustrations. Sharing a picture of the TikToker and his colleague on Facebook, Adeyanju wrote:
“Who is this boy saying people should not rant on TikTok? Is TikTok your father’s house? Shouldn’t you be in school instead of on TikTok? Are you not too young to be doing TikTok? You have no right whatsoever to tell Nigerians how to express their frustration!”
