Burna Boy to perform at 2024 Grammy Awards

Burna Boy missed out on the Grammy Awards but claims he is the best

Nigerian Afrofusion star and award-winning singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has been announced as one of the performers for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy announced on Monday that the ‘Ye’ crooner will take the stage at the ceremony on February 4 in Los Angeles.

He joins the already announced Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Luke Combs, and Travis Scott.

In a statement via its website, the Grammy stated, “Burna Boy, Luke Combs and Travis Scott have been added to the performer lineup for the 2024 GRAMMYs. They join previously announced performers Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo. The 2024 GRAMMYs air live Sunday, Feb. 4, on CBS and Paramount+,”

The Best Global Music Album award winner at the 2021 Grammy Awards has also been nominated in four categories of the 2024 Grammy Awards: Best Melodic Rap Performance (Sittin’ On Top Of The World), Best Global Music Performance (Alone), Best African Music Performance (City Boys), and Best Global Music Album (I Told Them).

The 32-year-old took home the Best Global Music Album for Twice As Tall at the 2021 63rd Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony.
