BSc in Law: Nigerians urge Enenche to apologize to Vera Anyim
    Facebook Twitter WhatsApp

Social media influencer Reno Omokri has berated Pastor Paul Eneche, the founder of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, for describing the testimony of Vera Anyim as a lie.

Omokri, in a statement on his X platform on Monday, noted that while advanced societies boast of having advanced military systems, Nigerian pastors have big church auditoriums that cannot protect their members from “lies.”

Omokri’s remark comes amid backlash suffered by Eneche for describing the BSc law degree obtained by his churchgoer, Vera Anyim, as a lie.

The church member, who had gone to the Dunamis International Christian Center to testify over her graduation from the National Open University of Nigeria, was called a liar by the lead pastor of the church.

Reacting to the news, the former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan berated the church for saying Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, won the election despite results from INEC showing he came a distant third at the polls.

Omokri’s statement reads, “They told the man who did not win an election that he won, and informed the woman who graduated that she did not graduate.

“That is why Israel has an iron dome that can protect 100,000 people from missiles at once, and Nigeria has a glory dome that seats 100,000 at once but cannot protect them from lies.

“This is what we have turned Christianity into in Nigeria.”
