Nigeria announces 170 coronavirus cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 170 coronavirus cases were confirmed on Sunday across the country.
The Centre for Disease Control also reported that five patients were discharged and two deaths recorded on Sunday.
Lagos accounted for 39 cases while Kano recorded 29 and Ogun recorded 24.
This takes the total number of confirmed cases to 2558 with 400 patients discharged and 87 deaths.
According to the NCDC, “170 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded with 39-Lagos, 29-Kano, 24-Ogun, 18-Bauchi, 15-Kaduna, 12-FCT, 12-Sokoto, 8-Katsina, 7-Borno, 3-Nasarawa, 2-Adamawa and 1-Oyo.
