Nigerian phone users have reacted to the new economic realities in shock, as the iPhone XR model is currently sold for a whopping N310,000 due to the increase in the dollar rate.
Chronicle NG reports on how Nigerians reacted to the trend.
David Onyema wrote, “If you like, don’t safeguard your phone with your life. The iPhone XR is now 310k and will probably increase again by tomorrow. If your phone gets stolen, damaged, or lost during this period, just know that you’re facing double tragedies.
Mirex Moses said, “No matter what you do this period, don’t let anything happen to your phone.”
“If your phone falls, fall with it. If it’s about to enter water, pour the water
If they want to steal it, they should steal you too, Dr. Mel advised in line with Moses.”
He added, “Whatever you do, hold your phone tight. The iPhone XR, fairly used, is now N280,000.”
