MTN users are downloading X VPN to access internet

Following the recent Internet outage in Africa caused by undersea cable damage, MTN users subscribed to a virtual private network known as X VPN to enable smooth access to the Internet.

MainOne, a leading provider of submarine cable systems, revealed that the repair process for its damaged submarine cable would take up to five weeks before the internet would be fully restored.

A lot of internet users were seeking solutions, as the wait for five weeks would be unbearable.

A tech-inclined X user (@Pablofx111) posted a solution on Saturday: “Just in case MTN Network is having issues again, download X VPN from the Play Store.

“Switch from auto to UDP.

“All your network issues will be fixed immediately.

“Thank me later in the comments.

Reacting to the proposed solution,

“You have saved more lives than the government.” Doris felt relieved.

“It works well, even for the iPhone.” Thanks,” @MusicLovesWIN appreciated.

“Mehn! Thank you. This picture just loaded immediately. I connected.” @Kachi_oo was excited.

Chinonso Godson and @Trader_Vickee asked, respectively, “Does it work for all other networks apart from MTN? Does this make the network better able to receive text messages?”
