GTB returns with functional app update for iOS users, others
Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) noted customers complaints regarding the GTWorld mobile app’s new version and promised to meet their expectations.
The commercial bank announced early in July that it would be updating its mobile app, GTWorld, in a bid to serve customers better.
The bank made an official publication via social media pages and emails with the message:
“Please note that we are releasing the updated GTWorld in phases and that it is currently available only in the App Store for iOS users”, GTB said.
“The App will be in the Play Store in the coming weeks”.
“If you’re an iOS user and you have Automatic App Update on, the GTWorld you currently have on your mobile device will be updated. However, if App Update is not set to automatic, you will need to manually update your GTWorld Mobile App to experience the newly designed App”.
Many users have struggled with the new interface and app architecture, along with the service disruptions that accompanied the mobile app update, Chronicle NG reported.
“We hope you enjoy the design and experience of the updated GTWorld Mobile App”, GTB said.

The latest app update was garbage, still not working. Many users control report errors, including this coding error: “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”
What a shame that such a big company can’t get it right.
