The Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has regretted the blackout experience in the affected areas, as issued in a formal statement.
The distribution company attributed the power outage to a technical fault on the feeder serving these areas.
Chronicle NG reports that the company posted on its official Twitter account.
“The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) wishes to notify its esteemed customers in Gwarimpa Abuja, Cosgrove, Katampe, Jahi 1, Jahi 2, Capital Hub Urban Shelter (Katampe), and its environs that the power outage they are currently experiencing is due to a technical fault on the feeder serving these areas”.
“All responsible stakeholders are currently working tirelessly to restore the power supply as soon as possible”.
“We regret any inconveniences caused. Thank you.”
