Aisha Yesufu, a staunch supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 presidential election, has berated the President Bola Tinubu-led administration over its policies to redeem the value of the naira against the US dollar.

Describing the Tinubu-led administration as “disastrous” and “illegitimate,” in a statement on X on Tuesday, the activist-turned politician urged Nigerians to keep their “dollars closer.”

She noted that no matter the economic policy of the federal government, “one thousand dollars will buy one thousand dollars worth of things.”

Aisha’s statement reads, “Keep your dollars closer!” Your one thousand dollars will buy one thousand dollars worth of things, whether Naira decides to go either way.

“And no matter the disastrous policy Tinubu’s illegitimate government decides to embark on, you still have your one thousand dollars to use!”

She can only mock herself. She’s the one who is fat below, Tinubu is far above her. They underestimated the President and are now running helter and skelter on their legs and with their mouth because they are in a state of total confusion. That Naira is rapidly recovering is dazzling them. The policy which they all condemned is now the magic wand that has unsettled all of them. This is just the begining.
