The Bauchi State Government on Saturday established plans to vaccinate girls against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a common cause of genital warts and cancers.  It intends to target girls aged nine to fourteen, as HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection. The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that the embattled governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in their custody. This was made known to the public in a press release signed by Peter Afunanya, the Public Relations Officer of the DSS.
