Nigerian politician and activist Aisha Yesufu has urged Nigerians to seek greener pastures abroad if they can afford the financial requirements.  Yesufu made the call in a video posted on her verified X handle on Saturday. Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has slammed Governor Uba Sani for accusing his father of plunging the state into debt.  Sani previously stated on Saturday that the El-Rufai administration left the state with a massive financial burden of $587 million, N85 billion, and 115 contractual responsibilities. The Ondo State Police Command announced on Saturday that it has commenced operations, in partnership with the Nigerian Army, to apprehend a soldier who reportedly killed a businessman in Akure, the state capital.  According to reports, the unidentified military personnel stabbed the seller to death in Akure’s famous Arakale Market on Saturday after a disagreement between them. The incident reportedly sparked a protest by the other traders at the market, but the situation was quickly resolved by men from the state police command. The President Bola Tinubu-led federal government has suffered severe criticism from Nigerians over the payment of a N90 billion subsidy for intending Hajj pilgrims.  Chronicle NG reports that the federal government has released a sum of N90 billion to subsidize the 2024 pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abosede, the mother of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has said that her son never told her anything bad about his wife, Olawunmi. Joseph Aloba, father of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, has denied plotting the escape of Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Primeboy, following the singer’s death. Aloba, in response to an interview with the deceased’s mother, Bosede Adeyemo, stated that he had never met Primeboy after the tragedy occurred.
