Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves have plummeted by around $1.02 billion in just 18 days as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) ramps up efforts to defend the naira. The FX reserves stood at $34.45 billion on March 18, 2024, but by April 3, they had plummeted to $33.50 billion, according to the most recent CBN data.
