An Ondo State High Court has sentenced three persons to death by hanging for the murder of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural body, Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti. The presiding judge of Bauchi Sharia Court II has sentenced one Salisu Aliyu to 15 months imprisonment for stealing fan from Dass Park Mosque. The Lagos State Police Command has debunked the claim in a trending WhatsApp voice-note that some persons are planning to launch an attack on Muhammadu Buhari Estate, in the Badagry area of the state.
