The Ghana chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has encouraged the party’s presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to choose a female running mate. Oghenosa Micheletti, the chairman of the APC in Ghana, made the request in a statement on Friday. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) seeks to raise a sum of N1.2 trillion in cash, through the issuance of treasury bills in the third quarter of 2022 (Q3’22). The apex bank disclosed this on Friday, in its Nigeria Treasury Bills Issue Programme for Q3’22. Treasury Bills are short term debt instruments used by CBN to borrow money from the public on behalf of the Federal Government. The apex bank also uses TBs to control money supply in the economy.
