A man has lost his live after consuming nine bottles of locally brewed alcoholic drink “Ogogoro” in Plateau State. It was gathered that the deceased had requested that the seller of the local gin gives him 11 bottles, boasting that he would finish it without anything untoward happening. Uganda okays organ transplants

Soon Ugandans who need organ transplants will no longer have to travel abroad, thanks to a new law allowing the procedure in the country. Kidney patients are currently the biggest group in need of transplants in Uganda. There is just one dialysis unit in the whole country. Tragedy struck on Thursday at Tashan Maialewa Village in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State as four persons were killed in a road car accident.
