A Nigerian national identified as ‘Fernando Benz’ has been arrested by the police for allegedly smuggling 160grams of heroin, Gurugram, India. The 28-year-old suspect was arrested on Monday night, October 3, 2022, while on his way to hand over the contraband to a person at a liquor shop near Kherki Daula toll plaza. The Oyo State Government has approved the absorption of 2000 Primary school teachers, initially seconded to the Post-Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in the state, during the previous administration of Senator Abiola Ajimobi. The relatives of four out of the six abducted victims in Abuja village will have to cough out N8 million to the bandits in order to regain their freedom. They were kidnapped from Tekpeshe and Gurdi communities in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
