Two Edo Assembly members defect to APC, reducing PDP’s seats to four

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Nasarawa state, Mr Philip Schekwo, who was abducted Saturday night, has been assassinated. His lifeless body was found a meter away from his house a few minutes ago. Schekwo hailed from Toto local government area of Nasarawa. Kaduna accident kills 21 passengers

Four persons were on Saturday crushed to death in an accident involving a DAF truck and a commercial bus on the Ijebu Ode/Oru Road in Ogun State. The accident occurred at about 1:15 pm and was caused by excessive speeding and loss of control on the part of the DAF truck driver, according to the spokesman of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi. Oyo State Police Command on Saturday said they had in their custody two suspects allegedly linked with the roasting and eating of the flesh of police officers burnt in Ibadan during #EndSARS protest.
