Barcelona agree £55m deal to sign Man City’s Ferran Torres

Manchester City have agreed to sell Spanish forward, Ferran Torres, to Barcelona for a fee believed to be £55 million.
Talks between Barcelona and City have progressed this week and the 21-year-old will move to the Catalonian club when the transfer window opens in January.
Barcelona have agreed to pay an initial fee of £46.7 million, and another £8.5 million in add-ons.
It means that City have almost tripled their money on the Spain international, who joined them from Valencia for £21 million in August 2020.
Torres is sidelined with a fractured foot but has found playing time hard to come by under Pep Guardiola even when fully fit.
He was not looking to leave City despite failing to hold down a regular first-team.
