The executive Governor of Imo State, Gov. Hope Uzodinma, has described Imo’s talents as a veritable resource for the nation.

Uzodinma made this remark while receiving Super Falcons of Imo origin: Chiamaka Nnadozie, Desire Oparanozie, Osinachi Ohale, and Tochukwu Oluehi at the Government House in Owerri.

While commending the Super Falcons of Nigeria for their outstanding performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which he described as an impressive outing, Uzodinma urged them not to be deterred by the outcome of the competition.

As an encouragement to the quad for their remarkable contribution to the success of the Super Falcons at the Women’s World Cup, the Governor approved the allocation of one plot of land to each of the players within the city of Owerri.

The Governor stated that this is the little way by which the Government shows appreciation for their patriotism and support for their career.
