Morata sat out Saturday’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace due to a hamstring injury but he is now set to return to action for the misfiring Blues.
Alvaro Morata is ready to return to action and could even start for Chelsea against Roma in Wednesday’s Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte confirmed that the Spanish striker is in line to make his return but was not sure if he will feature from the start.

He said: “I could have risked him on Saturday, but I am not so stupid. The situation is very difficult. You have to make the best decision. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I am not taking a risk if I ask Morata to play.”
The 24-year-old striker has been working on his fitness levels at Chelsea’s Cobham training base in recent days and he will be hoping to be back in action as quickly as possible.
Morata has made a fine start to life at Chelsea since his move from Real Madrid and his return will definitely be a big boost for the stuttering Blues.
The striker has scored six goals and made two assists in seven Premier League appearances for the West London side.
