Former England footballer Ugo Ehiogu has suffered a nasty heart attack during a session at Tottenham Hotspur training ground.

The former Three Lions defender who is currently coaching the under-23 side of Tottenham Hotspur, collapsed at the club training centre and he was given immediate medical attention at the facility before being transferred to the hospital by ambulance.
A club statement read: “We can confirm that Ugo Ehiogu is currently in hospital after collapsing at our Training Centre earlier today.
“Our Under-23’s coach received immediate treatment on site from our medical staff before being transferred to hospital by ambulance.
“Everyone at the Club sends their best wishes to Ugo and his family. We shall continue to provide updates when we have further information.”
Ehiogu played for Aston Villa and Middlesbrough during his active years and also featured four times for the England national team.
Former Aston Villa teammate, Stan Collymore also took to the social media to send his best wishes to Ehiogu, he wrote: “Wish a great lad and great coach a speedy recovery. Get well soon @UgoEhiogu, thinking of you pal!”
The Three Lions’ social media handle also tweeted: ‘Sending our thoughts and best wishes to former #ThreeLions defender Ugo Ehiogu.’
