Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Nicholas Jackson scored a goal each as the Blues earned all three points in a Premier League encounter at home against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The Blues were able to recover from last week’s 2-0 setback at Goodison Park to Everton.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 2-0 in front of their home fans, thanks to goals from Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.
After a scoreless first half, the Blues took the lead in the 54th minute when Palmer converted Sterling’s right-wing cross, his sixth goal of the season.
After collecting the ball from Palmer, Chelsea striker Jackson increased the advantage seven minutes later.
He finished the game 2-0 by striking the ball into Sheffield’s net from close range.
Chelsea moved up to tenth place in the league rankings, while Sheffield remained at the bottom with eight points.
