Chiamaka Nnadozie saved two kicks to lead Paris FC Feminines to a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Feminines — following a 0-0 scoreline in regular time — to claim the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine trophy on Saturday.

In the match played at the Stade de l’Épopée in Calais, the Super Falcons of Nigeria’s goalkeeper was the hero with her penalty saves, confirming Paris FC as the cup winners.

It is the club’s first trophy in 19 years, and only their second in the competition’s history.

Nnadozie had a relatively quiet 90 minutes in goal with much of the attack in the match coming from his teammates in a match PSG Feminines did not manage a shot on target in the first half, and briefly threatened in the second half before both sides settled for the lottery of penalties where the former Rivers Angel goalkeeper made her usual difference.

Nnadozie’s first save was on Korbin Albert’s low shot to the left that the 24-year-old kept out rather easily, before she lunged towards the post with her big palm to save Jade Le Guilly’s final kick and match decider, with the Paris FC ladies players mobbing the Nigerian goalie afterwards.

The Coupe de France Feminine trophy is Nnadozie’s first with Paris FC Feminine since she joined the team in 2020 from Rivers Angels.

Nnadozie has had an excellent season so far, leading her side to another Champions League qualification, claiming 12 clean sheets so far.
