Randal Kolo Muani played a crucial role in Juventus’ 2-1 victory over Como, scoring both goals, including a decisive penalty in the 89th minute. Despite his impressive start since joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, manager Thiago Motta believes the French forward has more to offer.
“He’s in good form, he scores goals, but he is sure he can do better,” Motta told Sky Sport. “He needs to keep his feet on the ground and continue to work. There are other things, apart from goals, that a forward needs to do.”
Since arriving in January, Kolo Muani has netted five goals in just three appearances, quickly becoming a key figure for Juventus.
However, Motta emphasized the collective effort of the squad, saying, “He is helping, like all the others, everyone had their moment and their characteristics. The squad will keep getting better.”

The match against Como proved to be a challenging one, with Juventus struggling to create clear-cut chances. Motta acknowledged their difficulties but praised his team’s determination.
“Playing against Como today is not easy and it wasn’t for anyone. They play good football and put you in difficulty,” he said.
“We were careful and played the game we had to play to get the victory. I’m happy, especially for the boys who deserved it.” he continued.
Before moving to Juventus, Kolo Muani had limited opportunities at PSG under Luis Enrique, making only two league starts this season despite a promising start. Now relishing his new chapter in Italy, the 26-year-old expressed his excitement.
“It’s a dream for me. I’m very happy to be here and with this start, I’m very happy to be at Juventus,” he said.
“For me it is really important to always play to win. We are very happy to have succeeded tonight against Como, now we head to the next one.” he concluded.
